The joint Council of Europe and European Union CyberSouth project, together withthe Royal Police Institute of Morocco, organised a basic training course on cybercrime and electronic evidence, for Police and Gendarmerie, during 25-27 April 2023, in Kenitra, Morocco.

The training enhanced the knowledge and skills of young professionals on cybercrime investigations and  electronic evidence in light of the international standards set by the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).  

This course complements the series of activities already conducted in Morocco, to support the work of law enforcement and the series of trainings to reinforce the capacities of judges and prosecutors to address cybercrime.
