Cybercrime@Octopus: Workshop on the Budapest Convention in the Ivory Coast

The Minister of Digital Economy and Posts, Mr. Claude Isaac DE, opened the Awareness Workshop on the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime, in view of its future ratification by Côte d'Ivoire:

No institution alone will be able to put in place an effective strategy to combat the threat of cybercrime. To better understand this threat, we need to adopt a global strategy...

The participants in this workshop, among others, from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Posts, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior and Security, ARTCI or ESATIC have agreed that national legislation on cybercrime should be strengthened in line with international standards, such as the Budapest Convention.
