The European Label of Governance Excellence (ELoGE) Accreditation Platform recently convened and granted accreditation to entities in six member states, strengthening the network of organisations dedicated to promoting good democratic governance at the local level.
The Centre of Expertise for Multilevel Governance at the Congress is now launching a call for proposals to support the implementation of ELoGE among local authorities within the territories of accredited entities.
This initiative aims to promote good democratic governance by funding projects that raise awareness of the 12 Principles of Good Democratic Governance and help local authorities improve governance, civic engagement, and public trust. It aligns with the Council of Europe’s broader goal of fostering inclusive, participatory, and resilient local democracies.
The application deadline is 7 July 2025 at 12:00 CET.
