The International Disaster and Risk Conference IDRC Davos 2014 is organised by GRF Davos in close cooperation with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR). The EUR-OPA Major Hazards Agreement is a co-hosting organisation of the event and will be presenting its work on the inclusion of people with disabilities in disaster preparedness and response and more largely on vulnerable groups. The Agreement will be organising a special Panel and a Session on that topic. The long-term objective of this participation is to reinforce the cooperation between the Council of Europe and the Global Risk Forum and to promote the Agreement's work on people with disabilities and disaster reduction.
