Patrick Penninckx, Head of the Information Society Department at the Council of Europe, met with a delegation headed by the Ukrainian Ombudsperson Lyudmyla Denisova in Strasbourg on 19 October 2018. The ratification of the Council of Europe Convention 108+ for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the Convention on Access to Official Documents (Tromso Convention) by Ukraine as well as cooperation between the Council of Europe and the Ombudsperson’s Office were discussed.
