The Romanian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-RO), at the request of the Council of Europe, is currently running a 4 day exercise in Pretoria, South Africa with the aim to support the national and departmental CERTs in the Republic of South Africa to benchmark their response to a simulated cyber attack. The workshop will highlight any vulnerability in the CERT arrangements and emphasise the need for inter-departmental cooperation and intelligence sharing.
