Yuliia Fysun is a Ukrainian lawyer specialising in international human rights law, protection of minorities and indigenous peoples, combating intolerance and negative stereotyping, and religious freedom.
She holds a PhD degree in International Law. In 1999-2005 she worked for the state authority of Ukraine for religious affairs as legal advisor. Currently she serves as a member of the Expert Council on Freedom of Conscience at the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Affairs and Freedom of Conscience. She is a member of the European Society of International Law and the Ukrainian Association of International Law.
Her main fields of academic interest are problems of religious security, persecution of minorities, religious freedom protection, hate crimes, and combating xenophobia.
