7 Films supported by Eurimages have been selected in the various programmes of the 79th edition of the Venice Film Festival, which started on 31 August 2022.

Victim (SK, CZ, DE) by Michael Blaško, On the Fringe (ES, BE) by Diego Botto; and The Happiest Man in the World (MK, SI, DK, BE, HR, BA) by Teona Strugar Mitevska - Horizons -

Les Damnés ne pleurent pas (FR, BE, MA) by Fyzal Boulifa and Ordinary Failures (CZ, SK, HU, IT) by Cristina Grosan - Venice Days -

These films, together with Yasmine Benkiran's co-production, Queens (FR, BE, MA, NL), will be screened at the end of Venice International Film Critics' Week.

The Eurimages team will be at the Venice Production Bridge from 1 to 6 September 2022 and at the Annual Gender Equality Conference organised in cooperation with the Festival on 6 September from 14:00 to 16:00.
