Tunisia
Support for Independent Bodies (PAII-T)

The Project to Support Independent Bodies in Tunisia PAII-T is a joint program between the European Union (EU) and the Council of Europe for a period of three years running from January 2019 until 31 December 2021.

Georgia
Strengthening Media freedom, Internet governance and Personal data protection in Georgia

The Council of Europe Project “Strengthening Media freedom, Internet governance and Personal data protection in Georgia” was launched on 1 February 2021 and will be implemented during 24 months. The Project is funded by the voluntary contributions of donors in the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for the Georgia 2020-2023. The Project’s total budget is EUR 481.000.

Azerbaijan
Promoting media professionalism and freedom of information in Azerbaijan-Phase 1 PRO-M-FEX

Launched on 1 July 2022, the Council of Europe project aims to contribute to improvement of the landscape for media and information society in Azerbaijan by strengthening the national legislation and its practice, as well as boosting media professionalism.

Regional exchanges to fight against gender based violence in the media

The project falls under the component of the South Programme IV which aims at fostering exchanges and networking between the Southern Mediterranean and Europe in the area of combating violence against women.

Promoting Freedom of Expression and media pluralism in Morocco
The project to promote freedom of expression and media pluralism in Morocco is a joint program between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Council of Europe for a period of four years running from January 2019 until December 2021.

Bosnia and Herzegovina
Media and Information Literacy: for Human Rights and More Democracy

The Media and Information Literacy: for Human Rights and More Democracy project aims to enhance media literacy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and develop the capabilities of groups such as public officials, university students, civil society organisations, media actors and citizens to access, understand and critically use the information available in the media.
