In the framework of the European Law Institute (ELI) Annual Conference 2020 (online), the Council of Europe has been invited to contribute to the webinar on Access to Digital Assets, which will take place on 10 September (16:30 to 17:45 CET).
A project was led by the ELI to facilitate the position of those entitled to access to digital assets and those who have to deal with digital assets in their daily legal practice, particularly judges, notaries and bailiffs, by drafting principles aimed at harmonising the laws of the Member States. Yannick Meneceur, policy advisor to information society department, will share an external perspective on the project’s work with a focus on practical issues arising in regard to access to digital assets.
