The second training session for police officers on “Protection and safety of journalists” was organised under the joint European Union/Council of Europe action “Freedom of expression and freedom of the media in Serbia (JUFREX 2)”. Its aim was to improve the protection of journalists and other media actors and create a favourable environment for freedom of expression, by raising awareness and building capacities of police officers that are designed as contact points for the safety of journalists throughout Serbia.
