In view of the global situation resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak, the co-organisers - the Council of Europe and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, with due consideration regarding the health and safety of the participants, as well as to the objective of bringing together, in the framework of this event, as many ministers as possible, have agreed to postpone the Conference of Ministers responsible for Media and Information Society, initially scheduled to take place this year.  

The Conference “Artificial intelligence – Intelligent politics: Challenges and opportunities for media and democracy” will take place on 10 and 11 June 2021 in Nicosia, Cyprus. Further updates will be made available in due course on the Conference website.
