Patrick Penninckx, the Head of the Information Society Department presented the Council of Europe Action on Freedom of Expression in Brussels on 23 November 2018. The coordination meeting between the European Commission, OSCE, the European Endowment for Democracy and the Council of Europe was organised by the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Participants examined their cooperation in the areas of media freedom and freedom of expression in the Western Balkans and Turkey.
