On 5-6 October 2022, the Committee of Experts on the Integrity of Online Information (MSI-INF) held its second meeting in a hybrid format. The Committee of Experts and participants had constructive discussions on the first draft of its Guidance note on countering the spread on online mis- and disinformation through fact-checking and platform design solutions in a human rights compliant manner, due at the end of 2023.

Following the decision of the Committee of Ministers on 16 March 2022 the Russian Federation is no longer a member of the Council of Europe. The website will be updated as soon as possible to take account of this development.
