On 19-20 July 2024, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of the Council of Europe’s “Journalists Matter” campaign, organized a training workshop in Tsaghkadzor titled "Improving Law Enforcement-Media Collaboration". The event brought together representatives of mass media to foster dialogue and improve communication between law enforcement bodies and the press. The training workshop included dynamic discussions on sector-specific challenges and provided a platform for participants to share experiences and insights. By fostering mutual understanding and knowledge sharing, the workshop marked a pivotal step towards developing sustainable mechanisms for effective law enforcement-media collaboration in Armenia.
The Ministry’s commitment to ensuring transparency and accessibility of information was highlighted and the importance of establishing effective dialogue with media representatives was underscored.
