Council of Europe at the 3rd Anti-Cybercrime Forum

The Council of Europe was invited to participate in the 3rd Anti-Cybercrime Forum on 29 November 2017, in order to present the CyberSouth project.

The Council of Europe took the opportunity of this panel to present the approach it has worldwide regarding the capacity building on cybercrime with the support of the European Union, and also underline the benefits for Lebanon in committing to this project.

During this event, a case of phishing and of skimming was presented based on the instruments of the Budapest Convention. CyberSouth strengthens capacities of its priority countries on international cooperation related to cybercrime or involving e-evidence.
