iPROCEEEDS-2: Domestic Workshop on Cybersecurity for Montenegro CIRT - Table-top exercises for testing procedures, crisis management processes, institutional arrangements and agreements

Under result 2, Coordinated cybercrime and cybersecurity policies and strategies of the Joint Project of the European Union and the Council of Europe – iPROCEEDS-2, an online domestic workshop on cybersecurity for Montenegro Computer Incident response Team (CIRT), was organized on 28-29 October 2020.

The goal of the tabletop exercise was to test the procedures, crisis management processes, institutional arrangements and agreements within Montenegro CIRT and to see how sharing of data between cybersecurity community and criminal justice authorities takes place.

Under the coordination of 2 international consultants with expertise in Cybercrime and cybersecurity matters, the National CIRT specialists had the opportunity to exchange information and good practices with representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Education, Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, Commercial Banks, Academia and ISP.

The workshop aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of Montenegro CIRT regarding incident handling and communication channels as well as preserving the electronic evidence, developing compliant operational practices and evidence collection standards.
