The sixth meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) of iPROCEEDS project took place in Bucharest on 29 March 2019 with the purpose of reviewing the progress made towards achieving the project specific objective and expected results for the period September 2018 – March 2019 and approving the work plan for the next implementation phase.

The meeting also gave the opportunity to the members of the PSC to determine the needs of the national authorities for future support and capacity building beyond the lifespan of the Project.

The PSC was attended by the representatives of the Council of Europe and national authorities – representatives of specialised cybercrime prosecution units or prosecutors specialised in supervision/prosecution of cybercrime cases, cybercrime investigators, FIU analysts,  representatives of the Ministry of Justice and Judicial Academies.

The PSC composition reflects the aim of providing the best possible cross-section of views, to enhance the planning efforts and enable information sharing, and to facilitate coordination and collaboration in the field.

The next PSC is planned to take place in November 2019.
