Opening the series of activities addressing the CERT – LEA collaboration and information sharing, the online workshop “Business analysis CERT/LEA and development of guidelines and procedures on sharing of data by CERTs/CSIRTs with criminal justice authorities in Republika Srpska”, was organised under result 2 of the Joint Project of the European Union and the Council of Europe – iPROCEEDS-2, on 9 – 11 December 2020.
The workshop aiming at assessing the existing capabilities of both CERT and LEA in Republika Srpska and enhancing future cooperation through secure channels, brought together representatives of the Computer Emergency Response Team and representatives of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska.
Amongst the achieved outcomes, it is worth mentioning a common understanding of both cybercrime and cybersecurity internal procedures, the enhancement of the familiarity with the Malware Information Sharing Platform and agreements on best methods and practices of information sharing.
Similar activities are to be organised by iPROCEEDS-2 project in 2021 in other project countries/ area.
