Following the serious irregularities observed by international observers during the local and parliamentary elections on 17 December 2023, and the ongoing protests in the Serbian capital city, Congress President Marc Cools has asked Congress spokesperson on electoral matters, Stewart Dickson, to carry out a visit to Belgrade early in the new year to meet with the authorities of Serbia.

The main purpose of the visit will be to discuss improvements to the electoral process and the urgent reforms needed to combat any potential fraud.
