Dublin Ministerial Conference (2003)

On 16-17 October 2003, Ministers and government representatives of the Pompidou Group’s Member States and representatives of the European Commission met in Dublin, Ireland.

The Conference dealt with the general theme: “New Challenges for Drug Policy in Europe”.

The Conference adopted a Statement on the Structure and Working methods of the Pompidou Group, enshrining certain amendments made to the “Modernisation report” adopted at the Sintra Ministerial Conference in 2000, as well as the Work Programme 2004-2006 of the Pompidou Group.

The XIII Ministerial Conference of the Group marked the end of the Irish presidency (1997-2000) and the beginning of the Dutch presidency for the period 2003-2006.
