Pompidou Group - Co-operation Group to Combat Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Drugs

European Drug Prevention Prize

Call for application to become a jury member

Currently, the Pompidou Group is looking to recruit four new members for the jury.

The European Drug Prevention Prize is a unique pan-European initiative of the Pompidou Group to promote youth participation in drug prevention.

Its objective is to recognise the importance of active youth participation in creating a better and healthier environment for all communities in Europe.

The Prize is awarded every two years to innovative drug prevention projects which actively involve youth – led by young people for young people – and currently running in one (or more) Council of Europe member States.

The submitted projects are carefully evaluated – with the advise of experts in the field of drug prevention – by a jury of seven young people. They autonomously select the three prize-winners which they consider to be the most innovative regarding the involvement of young people from the setting up to the running of the project.
