The follow-up meeting of the Balkan seminar on global development education is taking place today and tomorrow in the framework of the Croatian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers with the support of the European Commission and in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Education of Croatia and the Centre for Peace Studies. The North-South Centre organises the event to bring together practitioners and decision-makers from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, and “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” to assess the level of implementation of the recommendations agreed in the seminar held in Belgrade last year in the field of global development education policy and curricula development, pedagogical support and advocacy.

This meeting is organised in the framework of the Joint Programme signed between the Council of Europe and the European Union for the promotion of global development education through dialogue, networking strategies, capacity building and exchange of education practices.
