Retour Seminar “Remembrance and learning from the Second World War”

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

The Council of Europe Youth Department and the National Youth Council of Russia are со-organising, in cooperation with the Rossotrudnichestvo, the third International Seminar “Remembrance and learning from the Second World War” to be held from 7 to 10 November 2016 in the Volgograd region (Russian Federation).

The Seminar builds on the experiences and learnings of the two previous editions and aims to engage young people into dialogue about remembrance of the Second World War and to foster their peace-building activities and future cooperation.

The seminar will bring together 65 participants from all member-states of the Council of Europe, the countries-participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States, together with a selected number of participants from other countries directly concerned by the objectives of the Seminar.

All interested candidates from the member-states of the Council of Europe and the countries-participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States (other than the Russian Federation) should be aged between 25-35, all candidates from the Russian Federation – between 18-35.

The working languages of the Seminar are English and Russian with the simultaneous interpretation.
