Lawyers from different municipalities were introduced to the scope of Article 10 of the European Court of Human rights as well as to the constitutional and local legal provisions in force. During the two-day training, trainers presented the clash of freedom of expression (Article 10) with the protection of privacy and reputation (Article 8). Moreover, the notions of reputation and defamation have been defined and thoroughly discussed by the trainers and participants.

The event was organised under the Grant Agreement with the Bar Association.

This initiative is conducted in the framework of the Horizontal Facility II programme, a co-operation initiative co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
