On 24 September Mario Schwetz, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Venice, spoke at the Veneto journalist lifelong vocational training course “Sport and Economics: the role of journalism”.

Experts from different fields analysed the theme from their perspectives with Carlo Mazzanti, Director of international affairs magazine Atlantis.

The Head of Office illustrated the two fold strategy adopted by the Council of Europe based on the set of legally binging standard and monitoring through Conventions and the creation of a platform of co-operation.
