The City of Venice joined the campaign promoted by the European Federalist Youth and on 22 June 2022 opened its blue and yellow stars European Bench in the Albanese park (Mestre).

After the event, a debate was held on the future of Europe eighty years from the compilation of the Ventotene Manifesto and in the context of the European Youth Year, an initiative which focuses on the role of young people in the European project and for a better future.

Among the guests were Ermelinda Damiano, President of the City Council and Luisella Pavan - Woolfe, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Venice.
