Eurimages took part in the annual Seminar on Gender Equality and Inclusivity in the film industry organised in co-operation with the Venice International Film Festival, the Italian Ministry of Culture, Women in Film and Television & Media Italia on 6 September 2022. This fourth edition since 2019 was held within the framework of the Venice Production Bridge, with the participation of the President of Venice Biennale Roberto Cicutto, Artistic Director Alberto Barbera, and the Director of the Venice Office of the Council of Europe Luisella Pavan Woolfe. During the seminar data presented by Biennale, Milan Università Cattolica and Eurimages focussed on creative and technical roles as well as Italian film crews and European funding. Director Jasmine Trinca spoke of the obstacles facing women starting a career in filmmaking.
