On 18 May 2023 Professor Antonio Silvio Calò presented his new volume “Without looking away. A story of civic commitment” at the regional headquarters of RAI Veneto. The book describes his personal experience which has become a model to be followed at European level. The author welcomed in his family six migrant youths and accompanied them through different stages of their lives, giving them the possibility to study and perfectly integrate within the local social context.

Giovanni de Luca, Director of Rai Veneto, coordinated the event which saw the presence of Luisella Pavan-Woolfe, Head of the Council of Europe Venice Office.
