On 5 October 2022, at the Squero San Isepo, in the third of the four days dedicated to the theme “buildings presentations in historic towns”, the director of the Italian office of the Council of Europe, Luisella Pavan-Woolfe, participated in the meeting "Experiences on Industrial Heritage regeneration".  Restoration techniques, artisan building skills, preservation in various European countries were discussed.

In attendance were Maxine Webster, co-founder of the association 1st Framework; Cesare Peris, president of Società di Mutuo Soccorso Carpentieri e Calafati; Gary Hunter, Newcastle Fitzrovia Noir; Tryntsje Bakkum, from Amsterdam and Peter Jamieson, President of Friends of Czech Heritage.

The event is one of a series of initiatives in the framework of the GeM Award, a memorial fund established in the name of Gloria Trevisan and Marco Gottardi, the two young Italian architects who died in London, in July 2017, in the Grenfell Tower fire.
