Poland makes a voluntary contribution

The Government of Poland has made a voluntary contribution of PLN 240,000 (approximately €52,000) to support the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023 and the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2022. These Action Plans aim to support Georgia and Ukraine in implementing the Council of Europe standards relating to human rights, democracy and the rule of law. Poland has also made a voluntary contribution of €54,055 to support the East-European School of Political Studies.

The agreements were signed on 23 November 2021 by Ambassador Jerzy Baurski, Permanent Representative of Poland to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
