Offenburg, Germany - Intercultural City
Offenburg is a city located in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. With about 62.815 inhabitants (2022), it is the largest city and the administrative capital of the Ortenaukreis such as the main centre of the economic area in whole Mittelbaden. The historically significant city assumes important supply functions as the seat of public authorities, educational, health and service institutions, but also as the centre of the regional labour market.

Almost 40 % of the people living in Offenburg have a migration background (38.6% = 24,228 persons). Of these, about 14.5% (9,080 persons) are German citizens, 7.5% (4,735 persons) are (late) resettlers and 16.6% (10,413 persons) are people who hold a foreign passport.
