The EU/CoE action on Freedom of Expression and Freedom of the media in Kosovo* (JUFREX2) in cooperation with the Academy of Justice organised a two-day training for prosecutors and police officers on Protection and Safety of Journalists, from 17-18 June 2021. Thematic areas such as risks and threats against journalists and measures to mitigate them, the promotion of a favorable environment for journalism and the avoidance of impunity, were discussed during the first day of the training.
The second day of the training was focused on Council of Europe standards in the field of protection and safety of journalists as well as local legal and institutional framework.
