This week Telefilm-Chisinau organised the online premiere of the documentary "Soroca's Great Theater". By now it was only screened in cinemas. The documentary shows the life of ordinary Roma people from Soroca town in the north of Moldova, aiming at raising awareness about human rights and diversity issues and inspiring change.

The documentary was produced by Telefilm-Chisinau department of the public service broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova following a series of training seminars on planning and producing TV documentaries organised by the EU-CoE Joint Project "Promoting media freedom and pluralism in the Republic of Moldova". In December 2018, the documentary "Soroca’s Great Theater" won the prestigious ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe in the category "Information (Non-fiction)".
