A new publication to promote the implementation of European MIL standards in domestic institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina

A study on „Implementing European and International Standards on Media and Information Literacy in various domestic institutions” was developed as a contribution to enhancing awareness among media and information (MIL) stakeholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on best practices in Council of Europe member states to implement MIL standards. The Study proposes potential paths (based on international and European standards, and country-specific contexts) for the establishment of a functional MIL infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This study has been done with the support of the Council of Europe and its action Media and information literacy: for human rights and more democracy (MIL), within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018-2021. Action Plan level funding is provided by Luxembourg and Norway. The opinions expressed in this work are the responsibility of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the official policy of the Council of Europe.
