Back Launch of the project "Preventing the emergency situations generated by floods"

Launch of the project

The Executive Secretary of EUR-OPA Major Hazards Agreement, Gianluca Silvestrini, visited on 5-6 April 2018, the “European Centre for Mitigation of Natural Risks”, which is one of the 26 EUR-OPA Scientific Centres , based in Chisinau, Moldova. He discussed with the Director Prof. Anatolie Bantus the work programme of the Centre for flood prevention, preparedness and education to disasters. The EUR-OPA funded project on “Promoting risk culture among the population for informing and preventing the emergency situations generated by floods” was launched. He participated in a training seminar on flood prevention for school teachers in an educational institution in Chisinau.
