The Council of Europe’s EUR-OPA Major Hazards Agreement released a new publication entitled Disabled persons in viral pandemics: the example of Covid-19 which has been edited thanks to the working paper drafted by Professor David Alexander.

The document is aiming at identifying ways to overcome the challenge to provide more equitable conditions to disabled people in times of a pandemic such as Covid-19. Reviewing the various types of disabilities, the paper offers an analysis of the situation of disabled people and intends to help societies to fulfil their moral responsibility to be fair and inclusive.
