At its 160th meeting held online from 12 to 16 October, the Board of Management of Eurimages decided to suspend temporarily the application of part of Article 1.5.1.2 of the Eurimages Co-production Support Regulations. The relevant clause of the article states that companies which are in a “situation of arrangement with creditors” are not eligible to apply for Eurimages’ support.

Pending legal clarification as to the interpretation of this clause in the specific case of companies having obtained a favourable court decision ending a period of insolvency administration and allowing them to resume normal activity, the Board decided that for the deadline of 20 October 2020 only, applications would be accepted from companies declaring themselves to be in “a situation of arrangement with creditors”.

A final decision on the eligibility of these companies will be taken by the Board of Management at its meeting on 7 to 10 December 2020.
