CyberSouth: 9th Project Steering Committee reviews progress

The 9th Steering Committee of the CyberSouth project met in Brussels on 7 December 2022 to review progress made during the past six months and agree on the activities to be carried out in the first half of 2023.

Representatives of project countries (Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, Jordan and Tunisia), the European Commission, the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe (C-PROC) and project partners acknowledged results achieved so far and agreed to focus further activities on integrating judicial training modules into the curricula of training institutions, promoting cooperation between criminal justice authorities and service providers and links between measures on cybercrime and on cybersecurity. In the second part of 2023, results of the project will be evaluated.
