Cybercrime@Octopus: Benin on its way to join the Budapest Convention

A visit of a delegation of the Cybercrime Convention Committee (T-CY) and a workshop on the Budapest Convention took place in Cotonou, with the support of the Presidency of the Republic of Benin, the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI) and Agency for Digital Development (ADN).

The workshop allowed to raise the awareness of participants on the requirements of the Budapest Convention, to discuss Benin's current challenges and responses to cybercrime, and the benefits of joining this treaty, which remains the most relevant international standard in this matter.
