Richard Temu is a Financial Intelligence Analyst at Kenya’s Financial Reporting Centre (FRC), specialising in investigations of virtual assets-related crimes. He holds a Master’s degree in Blockchain and Digital Assets from the University of Nicosia, where his thesis “Evaluation of Crypto Assets Investigation Techniques: Bitcoin Address Clustering” won the Best Practical Paper award at the European, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern Conference on Information Systems (EMCIS) 2025. Richard also assists the UNODC in developing and delivering virtual asset investigation training courses to various countries upon request.
