Steering Committee for Human Rights (CDDH)

The CDDH’s principal role, under the auspices of the Committee of Ministers, is to set up standards commonly accepted by the 47 member states with the aim of developing and promoting human rights in Europe and improving the effectiveness of the control mechanism established by the European Convention on Human Rights.

74th meeting of the CDDH (7-10 February 2012): The Steering Committee for Human Rights adopted its Contribution to the Ministerial Conference organised by the UK Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers (Brighton, United Kingdom, 18-20 April 2012). The document can be found here.

 

 

Meeting of the DH-GDR: The Committee of experts on the Reform of the Court (DH-GDR) held its first meeting in plenary composition from 17 to 20 January 2012. The meeting report, including important draft texts prepared for the CDDH meeting of 7-10 February 2012, can be found here.
