The CDDH’s principal role,
under the auspices of the Committee of Ministers, is to set up standards
commonly accepted by the 47 member states with the aim of developing and
promoting human rights in Europe and improving the effectiveness of the
control mechanism established by the European Convention on Human
Rights.
74th meeting of the CDDH
(7-10 February 2012): The Steering Committee for Human Rights
adopted its Contribution to the Ministerial Conference organised by
the UK Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers (Brighton, United Kingdom,

Meeting of the DH-GDR:
The Committee of experts on the Reform of the Court
