Eurimages Co-Production Development Award in Rome

In recognizing New Cinema Network, the International Project Workshop of the Rome Film Festival, as one of the three most important co-production markets in Europe, Eurimages has given for the third consecutive year the 2012 NCN Jury the task to assign the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award of an amount of 30,000 Euro to the best project presented during NCN, that also fulfils the inspiring criteria and principles of co-production and cooperation among European countries of Eurimages.
The Jury recognised the high quality of the projects overall, balancing new talents with well-known international auteurs. The Jury decided to give a special mention to the Spotlight: China! selection for its diversity and creativity. The NCN Jury has assigned the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award to the project Mordogan by Jessica Krummacher to be produced by the German company Lieblingsfilm GmbH in Munich. The Executive Director Roberto Olla delivered the award during the closing ceremony of the New Cinema Network on 17 November 2012.

Info for exhibitors

  • From 1 January 2016, the rules for Eurimages' support for theatres have been modified. A theatre that wishes to join the network must apply before 30 June at 6pm of the current year for an accession the following year.

    Full participation in the Creative Europe-Media Sub-programme is announced for 2016 for “the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”, Albania and Serbia. Therefore these countries will no longer be eligible for Eurimages’ theatre support programme.

    Only theatres located in Eurimages member states that do not have access to support under the Creative Europe MEDIA programme are eligible for the Eurimages programme of support for theatres: Armenia, Georgia, Russian Federation, Switzerland and Turkey.

     

Info for distributors

  • From 1 January 2016, the rules for Eurimages' support for distribution have been modified.

    Full participation in the Creative Europe-Media Sub-programme is announced for 2016 for “the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”, Albania and Serbia. Therefore these countries will no longer be eligible for Eurimages’ distribution support programmes.

    This support is intended for professionals based in Eurimages member states which do not have access to the EU Creative Europe-MEDIA distribution programme: Armenia, Georgia, Russian Federation, Switzerland and Turkey.
