EURIMAGES - European Cinema Support Fund

Producers from throughout the world who are experienced in co-productions and have completed at least one international co-production are invited to submit a project. The deadline for project submissions is November 2, 2006

The Berlinale Co-Production Market is a three-day-initiative for producers, film financiers, broadcasting representatives, distributors, world sales agents and representatives of funding bodies who work in the field of international co-productions.

At the Berlinale Co-Production Market, producers are given a platform to introduce their projects and an opportunity to find co-production partners and/or financiers. Moreover, they can catch up on current film financing strategies in case studies, get first-hand information on co-production opportunities with other countries at the „Country Tables“, and establish new and refresh existing contacts during informal „Speed Matchings“, Lunches and Receptions.

This year’s market (in February 2006) welcomed over 400 industry professionals from all over the world, and more than 1000 pre-arranged individual meetings took place between the Berlinale Co-Production Market participants. Here, many of the selected projects found partners and meanwhile, an impressive number of  30 projects from the previous years are currently in or have already finished production.

Producers who wish to participate in the fourth Berlinale Co-Production Market or have any questions regarding the project submission, are welcome to contact my colleague Sonja Heinen and the team of the Berlinale Co-Production Market.
