Located in the historical and cultural Minho Province, Braga is one of the 12 Portuguese members of the Intercultural cities network. Braga joined the Portuguese National Intercultural Network (RPCI) two years ago and since it implements the C4i - Communication for Integration - project, based on the Council of Europe Anti Rumor methodology.

Braga is very active on communication and its intercultural policies have a strong focus on promoting awareness on the added value of diversity, deconstructing/combating prejudices and discrimination, mediating and resolving conflicts, promoting cohesion and social inclusion.

To celebrate its second anniversary as member of the RPCI, the city has launched a video to promote the city as a welcoming and attractive one.
