Papua New Guinea becomes the 82nd Party to the Convention on Cybercrime

On 6 May 2026, Papua New Guinea acceded to the Convention on Cybercrime (ETS 185).

With Papua New Guinea’s accession, 82 States are now Parties, two have signed it and 13 have been invited to accede to the Convention.

The Convention will enter into force for Papua New Guinea on 1 September 2026.
