Further to a request for accession, Brazil was invited to accede to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.
Once Brazil has completed its internal procedures to become a Party, Brazil will be able to cooperate effectively on cybercrime and electronic evidence with currently 64 other Parties. Brazil may now also become a priority country for capacity building programmes.
