“Say No to the Violence of Words – Say No to Hate Speech”

Description: In order to tackle bullying and hate speech in schools, the NGO Youthnet Hellas organised two-day workshops with the local schools of Larissa. The workshops were based on non-formal education and aimed at engaging the students by using theatrical plays and other simulation activities to discuss and learn about the risk of bullying and hate speech among young students. The workshops also featured guest speakers such as the Greek Children’s Ombudsman, who explained the children’s rights. The activities used were adapted from the Bookmarks manual. As an outcome of the training course, the young students produced two short videos.
