Education

Some people are unable to benefit from digital opportunities while others can profit fully. This is what we mean when we talk about the “digital divide”. Education, interests, culture, race, disability and social or economic background are just some of the reasons why not everyone has access to digital technology. Digital citizens do their best to share their equipment, knowledge and skills to help others develop their digital skills. They know that we can use differences between people to enrich our lives and make society better.  They also understand the positive and negative impact that technology can have on families, communities and society. Use the internet to explore ways that we could overcome the digital divide.
