Save the date: launch event of the regional HELP online course on “Refugee and migrant children” in the Western Balkans

The launch event is hosted by the Office of the Council of Europe in Sarajevo and will be livestreamed on Tuesday 25 May 2021 from 2.30 to 5.30pm, CEST.

 

This event, addressed to justice professionals and child protection services from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, aims to introduce participants to the HELP platform and the different sections of the online course on “Refugee and migrant children” that registered participants will follow over the next three months, with the assistance of a tutor into their respective local languages. Speakers will include the Council of Europe Special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees and representatives of relevant training centres, Bar Associations, and child protection services in the region, as well as EU and UN institutions.

The regional launch is organised within the scope of the Regional action “HELP in the Western Balkans” which is a part of the joint European Union/Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022”, implemented by the Council of Europe.
